Wook Mom!

This Drawing sits on our book shelf which faces our bed.

So on Sunday, while reading in my bed, I was purposely trying to ignore this noise:
"Mom Wook! ... Mom Wook! .... Mom Wook! ... Mom Wook!
(A.K.A. Mom Look!)
Kinda sounds cruel.
However, F.Y.I., this noise follows me as closely and as constantly as my own shadow.
Probably even closer, if that's possible.
Eventually I gave in, hoping to quiet this shadow temporarily,

"Yes Emmett?"

Emmett, standing right below the drawing on the bookshelf looking just like this, replied,
"Wook Mom, I'm Jesus!"

p.s. Eric's sketching skills...not bad, huh?

OMG - how sweet is that! what a darling little guy - and kids do the most remarkable things at times like that - when we try to ignore them - funny how their sweet spirits come out to remind us that they are the most precious things ever!!! i love this post, and can't wait to have my little guy be able to say "mom, wook!"

That is sooo cute! Kyle loves to say "Jesus" and always kisses a photo we have of him. Helps make motherhood enjoyable.

That is so funny! Kids say the cutest things. I was asking Finn the other day what he was and he said a boy. I asked him again and he said a kid. I asked him again and he said a child of God. It was so Cute!! It makes me feel good because it mean that teaching nursery kids isn't in vain ... they really do get it.

Absolutely adorable! Sometimes there is nothing more rewarding as a parent to have them do little things like this (I am still waiting).
And oh my goodness don't worry about the swimsuit. It is not like I am pregnant or anything so really, what use would it do me this summer?
Yes, lets get together sometime. I still haven't seen your place, or the zoo is always great! Maybe next week sometime?
